group, established in the year 2006 for seed production of some field crops. It's R&D activities and research are involved in both basic and applied plant science research. The organisation provides sustainable plant based solution for the agricultural sectors mainly through modern plant breeding innovation. Amrit seeds and organics was established in 2006-07. The organisation was started with an idea of " "Need based research in the field of seed technology for the farming community." The mandate includes crop improvement and varieties development suitable for different agro- climatic zones having high tolerance to biotic and abiotic stress coupled with high yield and quality. The organisation focused towards maximising of yield for sustainability of agricultural crops. The research of development newer generation bio-organic inputs is also another priority area of R&D for organic farming as well as integrated crop production. Our R&D division is focused on breeding of high yielding, early maturing varieties particularly in soybean, paddy, black gram and green gram in kharif crops and mustard, wheat, coriander in Rabi crops. Laying due emphasis on traditional values and sound scientific principles, the organisation has come to be considered as one of the most recognised and reputed seed brand in the state.
